WANDEROPHILE TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Agreement to Terms: Booking a trip with Wanderophile means that you and your fellow travelers accept and agree to all policies and conditions described here.
     

  • Assumption of Risk: Adventure activities like treks inherently involve certain risks. While Wanderophile strives to provide a safe experience, it cannot be held responsible for unforeseen accidents, injuries, or deficiencies in service encountered during the tour.
     

  • Health and Medical Disclosure: It is essential that you inform Wanderophile of any medical conditions, disabilities, or pregnancies at the time of booking. Determining your fitness to participate is your responsibility. Wanderophile does not provide medical advice.
     

  • Booking Confirmation: It is your duty to verify all trip dates and details upon booking, ensuring accuracy.
     

  • Changes to Itinerary: Wanderophile reserves the right to alter or cancel trips if necessary due to unavoidable reasons such as natural calamities, political unrest, or other emergencies. Any extra costs that may arise from such changes are to be covered by the participant.
     

  • Refunds & Cancellations: No refunds (either partial or complete) will be provided if you choose to exit the tour after it starts or for unused inclusive services (like meals or accommodation). In cases where Wanderophile cancels a trip, guests may be offered an alternative trip or a credit voucher valid for a year. All refunds and credits follow Wanderophile’s official cancellation policy.
     

  • Cancellation Fees: The cancellation fee depends on the notice period provided:

    • 7 or more days before the trip: 15% cancellation fee

    • 3-6 days before the trip: 50% cancellation fee

    • 0-2 days before the trip: 100% cancellation fee (no refund)

    • Special treks (like Himalayan or backpacking trips) may have different rules—please refer to our specific policy for those trips.
       

  • Transfer of Booking: If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person to avoid cancellation charges.
     

  • Non-Refundable Charges: Any extra charges such as payment gateway fees or event listing costs are non-refundable.

  • Personal Belongings: All baggage and valuables remain your personal responsibility throughout the trip. Wanderophile does not assume liability for lost or stolen articles.
     

  • Participant Conduct: Inappropriate or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the trip without any refund. The trip leader’s directions regarding safety and conduct are final.
     

  • Environmental Responsibility: Participants are required to adhere to eco-friendly practices and respect the natural surroundings during all Wanderophile trips.
